No fewer than 13 state legislatures have introduced antibullying laws in recent years. They are California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Kansas, Massachusetts Missouri, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Vermont, and Washington. None has yet passed, but labor and employment lawyers fear what?s to come if they do begin to be enacted: A flood of employee lawsuits.
